Yeah, it’s that time again…NHL season is upon us tonight! So, as with the start of any season I wanted to run down the futures action.
I wish I could say I found something good in the Regular Season Point Totals markets, but there was nothing there. Definitely would be forcing a look.
However, the Stanley Cup futures had a couple clean buys, so let’s discuss those. Here’s what we have, in order of sharp buying…and these are the material buys…
EDMONTON +850
TAMPA BAY +2200
PITTSBURGH +2800
Getting sharp action but at a lesser level than the above three, we have…
BOSTON +1600
DALLAS +1400
Is this the year Edmonton finally gets it done? I think last year if they had the goaltending then they would have gotten there. The team can score, they just can’t stop others from scoring and that was their downfall.
